Oak Island Legend Tours offers visitors an unforgettable experience on one of the world’s most legendary treasure islands. Our operation brings the rich history, mystery, and beauty of Oak Island to life for guests from around the globe. After an exciting return to operations, we’re gearing up for another incredible season and looking for passionate locals to join our team.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for enthusiastic, community-minded individuals to help us deliver a world-class visitor experience this summer. As a Seasonal Team Member, you could find yourself welcoming guests as they arrive, working in our museum, helping out in the Treasure Shop, or supporting day-to-day operations that keep the island running smoothly. Every role plays a part in making Oak Island unforgettable for our visitors.

What You Might Do

Roles vary and may include any combination of the following:

•        Welcome and greet visitors upon arrival, creating a warm first impression

•        Assist with guest check-in and orientation to the site

•        Work in the Treasure Shop — helping guests, handling sales, and keeping displays looking great

•        Support museum operations, answering visitor questions and maintaining exhibits

•        Help with tram operations and ensure safe, accessible experiences for all guests

•        Assist with general site upkeep and day-to-day operational tasks

•        Represent Oak Island Legend Tours with professionalism and a welcoming attitude

What We’re Looking For

•        A genuine passion for our local community, its history, and the South Shore of Nova Scotia

•        Knowledge of (or eagerness to learn about) Oak Island’s history and legends

•        A friendly, reliable, and team-oriented personality

•        Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to make people feel welcome

•        Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions

•        Availability to work weekends and holidays during peak tourism season

•        Previous experience in tourism, hospitality, retail, or customer service is an asset but not required
